WHY MONITOR YOUR ELECTRIC USE?
The EMPOWER Personal Energy Management online system will 'empower' you to make informed decisions on your personal energy consumption through monitoring, tracking and analyzing energy use.
HOW DOES THE ONLINE ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WORK?
You will have 24-hour online access to your monthly, daily and hourly electric usage online. You can compare and analyze your electric use with temperature readings as well.
WHAT ADVANTAGES ARE THERE TO THE ONLINE SYSTEM?
The EMPOWER Personal Energy Management online system also allows you to create energy markers which show when you made changes within your household. For example--the addition of a new appliance or the start of a new conservation effort.
WHO HAS HAD THEIR SMART METER INSTALLED?
Sioux Valley Energy customers in Brookings, Moody, Kingsbury, Pipestone and Rock counties have had their meters replaced and should have access to the EMPOWER online energy management system. SVE is currently working in Lake county to replace meters, starting with the northern portion of the region and then moving south.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
By signing up for our 'e-bill' online system you will have access to EMPOWER energy management. Click Here to access our 'e-bill' site. You will need to sign up for online access as a new user if not already registered. Once a new account is created or an existing account is accessed, click on the EMPOWER link.
